My wife and I are coming for a 10 day stay at the Hotel Relais la
Fattoria in Castel Rigone, beginning of September, 2006
We intend to do some walking and hopefully visit some of the
surrounding area. I don't wish to drive, so could anyone please tell
me if it is possible to get to Cortona for the day? either bus or train.
Also would we be able to get to florenze on a day trip by train? The
Trenitalia website is not easy to work out.
I think Castel Rigone is on a local bus route, but dont know where it
goes.
The staff at the Hotel will hopefully advise, but if anyone has any
information before we visit, we would be very grateful.
